The most important part of sewing machine kendo equipment is the futon.
Gen uses the highest quality felt in Japan, which is highly praised for its quick absorption and release of sweat and its comfortable fit when worn.

The felt is wrapped in a traditional Musashi-made woven indigo cloth, and each stitch is carefully sewn to create the futon.
The finished face futon is then tailored by top craftsmen, taking into account not only the size but also the shape of the face.
