The A-1α BIOCLEAN is a highly functional, washable, and colorfast kendo armor that combines new materials and technology to create the A-1α BIOCLEAN, a highly functional kendo armor that does not fade.
The even more advanced "A-1α BIOCLEAN Mark 2" is now on sale!

Like the previous model, it uses Tetknit material and retains the features of being "armor that dries easily, is washable, and is easy to use."
This model has been improved to include specifications that were highly requested and also provide added safety features.

The Mark 2 has been changed to a 6mm spike to improve shock absorption.

The faceplate has been changed from "BC (Bio Clean) Faceplate" to "Gray Back Faceplate", and further to "BCHV (Bio Clean High Vision) Gray Back Faceplate", incorporating cutting-edge technology.

The HV+ grey lining provides extremely clear visibility, and the bottom four faceplates, which are prone to saliva adhesion, are antibacterial treated.

The spacing between the vertical metal bars above and below the guardrail has been increased compared to previous models. This allows for a wider field of vision, making it easier to notice changes in the surrounding environment, allowing for safer kendo practice.
・ISG (IDEAL SAFETY GUARD)
The throat protector enhances safety. It has been improved from the conventional button (detachable) type to a hook-and-loop (detachable) type, making it easier to put on and take off.

・Biocleansil Lead
The inside of the jacket is made of a material that combines excellent sweat absorption and breathability. It quickly wicks away sweat. (The material feels good against the skin) It doesn't get sticky even when you sweat, so you can stay comfortable for a long time.
- Micro-punched Clarino leather
The ventilation holes in the material increase breathability and improve comfort inside the gloves.

Torso
The edges have been changed from the conventional black leather to navy deerskin. This carefully selected material is even more beautiful to look at and will develop a nice texture with use.

Tare

Tetnite is also used for the hanging strings, making them even more comfortable.
